Email outreach, including the parts that decide whether it arrives
Sending email is easy. Having it land in an inbox rather than a spam folder is the actual product, and it is mostly about restraint: starting slow on a new domain, stopping when someone says stop, and removing addresses that bounce before they cost you a reputation.
Two ways to send
| Your own SMTP serverYour domain, your reputation, your mailbox | ₹0 |
|---|---|
| ZeptoMailConfigured for you, no server to set up | ₹0.35 |
There is a preset list of common SMTP providers, so connecting an existing mailbox is a matter of a password rather than a support ticket.
Your own SMTP is the better option in almost every case: the sending reputation belongs to your domain, and if you ever leave, it stays yours. ZeptoMail exists for the case where you have no mailbox to connect and want to start today.
Domain warm-up
A brand-new sending domain that emits four hundred emails on day one gets treated exactly as it looks. Rechlio tracks a warm-up schedule per domain, starting at 20 emails a day and rising as the domain establishes a history.
Why this is a feature and not a limitation
The daily cap is the thing standing between a new domain and a permanent spam classification, which is not recoverable by sending differently later. Every tool that lets you skip it is selling you a faster route to the same dead end.
The suppression list
One list per workspace, checked before sending, holding three kinds of entry: email addresses, phone numbers, and company identifiers. Each entry can carry a reason.
The important property is that it spans channels. Someone who unsubscribed from email is not then called, and a business you have decided not to contact is not reached on WhatsApp by a different campaign next month. A per-channel opt-out is not really an opt-out.
Bounces
A bounce costs 10 points of lead score — not as a judgement on the business, but because the address is wrong and continuing to send to it damages the domain that has to carry the next thousand emails.
Cost
| Email via ZeptoMail | ₹0.35 |
|---|---|
| Email via your own SMTP | ₹0 |
| Classifying a replyInterested / not now / not interested | ₹0.10 |
The calculator will price a month of it.
What it does not do
- It does not find email addresses that a business has not published, and does not guess them from a name and a domain.
- It does not guarantee inbox placement. Nothing does; warm-up and suppression improve the odds.
- It does not run an inbox for you. Replies are classified and surfaced, but email is not a shared inbox in the way WhatsApp is.
- It does not make unsolicited email lawful. Consent and content are yours.
Questions
- Is my own SMTP server really free to use?
- Yes — sending through your own SMTP costs ₹0 on Rechlio. You pay whatever your provider charges, which for a Google Workspace or Zoho mailbox you already have is usually nothing extra.
- Where do the email addresses come from?
- Whatever a business has published, plus anything you import yourself. Rechlio does not sell a contact database and does not guess addresses from a pattern — which means email coverage on a discovered list is patchier than phone coverage. For Indian SMBs that is why WhatsApp usually carries the first message.
- What happens if someone unsubscribes?
- They go on the suppression list, which is checked before any send on any channel, and their lead score drops by 50 — the largest single movement in the table, because it is the clearest answer a lead can give.
